This is so exciting as I have been thinking about setting up a blog for so long but always seem to be busy.
Well, here it is!
I will share a few thoughts, musings, and ideas; things that inspire me and that I hope will excite you too. I would like to highlight inspirations from some of the stunning venues that I have been privileged to work at; let’s look at some of the flowers and styling at Sudeley Castle, Birtsmorton Court, Dumbleton Hall, Pittville Pump Room and many more.
Being a florist, it is only natural that I draw massively from the seasons and the colour that they create. The freshness of Spring, lush fullness and abundance of Summer, the warmth of the gold and ombre reds of Autumn and the cool tones of Winter. How can I possibly say which is my favourite!
I would also like to help you with those difficult little details, the final touches that mean so much. These are the flowers on the cake, ideas for your hair, yes you can wear a veil and have fresh flowers as well, maybe you just don’t know what to do for your table seating plan and we can even think about the special table set aside for guests that are no longer with us.
Anyway, I am excited to get started. I hope you find this helpful, fun and informative. I know I am going to enjoy posting on here.
More to come…
